Among them, Questions for a champion broadcast on France 3, features prominently. But the show will change its time slot and formula. We take stock!
Questions for a champion: Samuel Étienne announces several developments
Launched in 1988, this programme, which rewards quick thinking and general knowledge, has won over generations of viewers. Until 2016, the public could count on Julien Lepers to host Questions for a Champion. But for 7 years, Samuel Étienne has taken over in the game show. However, the latter has recently that several important changes were going to concern the show from September 4th. To begin, theThe program will return to its old schedule, namely 6:10 p.m.. Indeed, in recent years, with the disappearance of national 12/13 and 19/20 on France 3, the channel broadcast the game show at 5:45 p.m.
But according to Samuel Étienne, Questions for a champion will also be revamped in its operation. Thus, other changes also concern the weekly variation of the program. Better known as Questions for a Super Champion. It will include new features from this Saturday, September 2, 2023. The original concept will not evolve too much, but the stakes will become more important for the candidates. Going forward, each super champion will be required to respond in the rounds preceding the final head-to-head. Clearly, he can be eliminated at any time by another participant. Indeed, as in the classic version, the super champion will have to face three challengers. The latter having previously won in the daily show. Also, the game will get tougher.
Question for a super champion: more difficult trials
As a reminder, the program includes 3 separate sleeves allowing to distinguish the champions between them:
- The 9 winning points
- 4 in a row
- And the final face to face.
These tests retain a central place in Questions for a super champion. Under these conditions, after the first round, the three best can qualify for the 4th round in a row. But from the start of the school year, the rules of the game will change. Thus, once a player has been able to qualify, the other three will see their score drop to zero. And each question can be worth two points. Ditto when the second champion was able to qualify. Others’ scores will drop to zero. Also, the last questions will earn 3 points. Which may well complicate the candidates’ journey!
If you like to follow Questions for a Super Champion, know that you will be able to find this game show this Saturday, September 2, at 5:50 p.m. The daily version will return on France 3 on September 4at 6:10 p.m.
